One of the missions of NCCHE is to assist government agencies and private institutions in carrying out research and engineering projects in the areas related to hydroscience and engineering. With this objective in mind, all NCCHE models are developed for being easily used by engineers and researchers to solve the real-world engineering problems involving flow and sedimentation processes in the natural environment.

NCCHE models have already been applied to solve various engineering projects, in collaboration with various U.S. government agencies such as USDA-ARS and USA-COE, as well as with various research and engineering firms in the USA and abroad.
